Focusing OUr Vision

On three Sunday mornings, February 9, March 15, and May 31, we will gather at 9:30 for a potluck breakfast and continue through the Sunday Bible Study hour for Focusing Our Vision.

We will:

·         Share our stories of how we came to love Hominy Baptist

·         Explore what’s working in our ministries and what’s not

·         Identify critical needs in our community

·         Discern where God is leading us to concentrate our efforts in the coming year through July 2021.

·         Organize ourselves in teams to determine what we need to do to make these priorities happen.

We intend for our findings to be presented at church conference for consideration at the June meeting.

How can you participate? If you have any leadership responsibilities in your church we really expect you will want to be a part of this process. If you are deeply involved in any HBC ministries you are invited to be a part of the conversation. Even if you do not feel that responsibility, would you begin now to join all of us in this prayer:“Lord, what would You have Hominy Baptist to be and do in the coming year?” Together we will seek and discern answers that will enable us to engage in ministry that will best reflect God’s will and resources for our congregation.
